Neela Mayil Vahanano
Could someone please help me with the meaning of the song Neela Mayil Vahanano from the natyanjali cd, sung by Smt.Nalini Ramprasad. It is a beautiful song and I could not get any details about this on the internet. It is in Neelambari raagam. Is this to be danced as a lullaby to Lord Muruga? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

3- Oragathil( small r as given by Lakshman) refers to திருவேரகம் which is another name for swamimalai, of ARupadai veedu
4-Ezhumarai( small r as given by Lakshman ) .மரை means lotus.Parvathi collected all the six babies from the six lotuses and fused them together to form one baby with six heads and laid it in a seventh lotus.
5- siramOna for siramon(d)a(colloquial )= uchi mugarnda=kissing on the head

IMHO, Ezhu maRai may refer to the seven principal Upanishads - aitarEya, chAndOgya, kEna, kaTHa, taittirIya, brhadAraNyaka, and Isha.Any idea what Ezhu maRai means?

(You live like) a pearl at tiruccendUr (shIralaivAi muttO), and as a king at tirupparankunRam (tirupparankunRatt-arasO). When (enRu) you would have a great life (migunda peruvAzhvO) settling down at one place (Oragattil) ?
