The preliminary round of the competition would be held across various major cities of India. The final round would be held at Chennai.
The winners would be awarded cash prizes and also provided an opportunity to perform under the auspices of Guruguhaamrta®.
A few guidelines are listed below.
- The competition is open to two age groups:
- Junior (Age Group: 8-14)
- Must come prepared with a list of at least five (5) kritis of Muthuswami Dikshitar
Participation Fee: Rs 100/- payable by cash at the venue.
- Must come prepared with a list of at least ten (10) kritis of Muthuswami Dikshitar
Participation Fee: Rs 150/- payable by cash at the venue.
- Must come prepared with a list of at least five (5) kritis of Muthuswami Dikshitar
From each city, the top 3 candidates would be shortlisted and invited to participate in the Finals at Chennai on Sep 7th, 2014.
The rules and regulations for the Final Round would be provided to the finalists after the preliminary round.
Decision of the judges would be final and binding on all contestants.

- Bangalore - August 31st, 9 am, Sri Rama Lalitha Kala Mandira, BSK 2nd Stage
Chennai - August 17th, 9 am, Arkay Convention Centre, Royapettah Road, Mylapore
Hyderabad - August 10th, 9 am, Venue To Be Announced Soon
