"Mudra" is one of the premier sabhas organizing classical music concerts at Chennai during the December Music Festival.

The first webcast was on 12th Jan 2014 with an outstanding Nadaswaram concert of SESHAMPATTI SIVALINGAM..

This Demonstration is part of a Conference conducted by MUDHRA three years back which I had reported elaborately in this forum and also in Samudhra Magazine. This is a very useful programme for music students. In this demo, RSJ with the help of her student Miss Vathsala has explained the methods of practicing varnams- with onnu thalli, rendu thalli and singing varnams in various talams. A must see for music students. It is a very nice gesture that MUDHRA is webcasting through paalam this wonderful programme.

The concert by Mambalam Sisters also will be most enjoyable. Don;t miss it.
