Twamiswaranaang

Post by VK RAMAN »

http://m.youtube.com/watch?autoplay=1&v=yL4F28Cj88Q - Here is a sanskrit sloka from Rabindranath Tagore composition. I like to know if any one in our group can recognize this and point me to the correct lyrics in sanskrit. This is what I noted from the rendition given here. Very peace giving.

Twamiswaranaang, Paramaang Maheshwarang
Twang Devataanang, Paramancha Daivataang
Pateeng, Pateenaang, Paramaang Parastaad
Vidaamo Devang, Bhubaneshwamiddyang.
Ya Yetad Vidur Amritaa, Ste Bhabanti

VK RAMAN Ji,

The sanskrit verse you wanted to be checked is not composed by Sri Ravindranath Tagore.

This is a verse from Shiva puran.

The verse goes like this::

Tvam Ishwaranaam Paramam Maheshwaram,
Tvam Devanam Paramancha Daivatam.
Pating Patinaam Paramam parastad,
Idam Devam Bhuvaneshwar-eshwaram.

You can check the link::http://tribes.tribe.net/mahayoga-mind/t ... 0ae72bf51a

for more details.

Regards.
