24 hours Special Webcast for Deepavali

As a grand treat to art lovers on Deepavali day, Paalam will have a special programme – “Kadambam” which will feature 24 hours nonstop webcast of quality music, dance and drama programmes starting on 2nd November 2013 at 4.30 am and concluding on 3rd November 4.30am. This webcast will be the first of its kind featuring only Indian classical art forms and begins on an auspicious note with a Nadaswaram performance. The 24 hour programme includes a variety fare of Karnatic vocal and instrumental music, namasankeertanam, dance, drama, lecture-demonstration, bhajans, film music – Hindi and Tamil and music ensemble. It will feature 72 programmes and have 307 artists participating in it. Two dramas, “ Naan vedithaal Deepavali” and “ Super Kudumbam” will also be webcast.
