Requesting Blessings for Pranav, disciple of Sri Ravikiran

Dear Friends,

I have been very fortunate to receive your encouragement and best wishes to all of the festivals that I conduct in Dallas, Texas.

This time, I am extremely happy to invite you all to my ten year old son, Pranav Kikkeri's Carnatic Vocal arangetram. Pranav is a disciple of Sangeet Samrat, Shri Chitravina Ravikiran, one of the greatest gurus that the music world has ever seen. Pranav has always had a devout interest in music, identifying ragas at the age of two, which prompted us to put him under Shri Ravikiran when he was about three and half years. He won the Ist Prize in Vocal sub-junior (2011) and Special Prize in Alapana - Junior (2013) at the Cleveland music competition. Pranav was also one of the lead singers in his guru's North American Melharmonic Orchestra (NAMO) concert in the same festival this year.

We are privileged to have Kum Akkarai Subhalakshmi and Shri Poovalur Sriji accompanying Pranav in this concert to be held:

Shri Shekar Vishwanathan, President, Indian Fine Arts, San Diego has kindly consented to be a Guest of Honour as also veteran vocalist, Smt Lalitha Seshadri.
