A simple interpretation of
நீவாத மாதவா தாமோக ராகமோ
தாவாத மாதவா நீ.

A Gopi is complaining!
நீ = You!
வாத = arguing
மாதவா = Krishna!
தா = Give/Play
மோக ராகம் = Love tune.
ஓதா = Not playing
வாத = arguing
மாதவா = Krishna
நீ = You (are)

post 221:]சுபதி பசுபதி பசு is a wonderful coinage. With your permission to use this mould, I would add one letter(நீ), two letters, three letters,five letters and get nice combinations.:

வானவா சுபதி பசுபதி பசு ]வானவா
விகடகவி சுபதி பசுபதி பசு விக்டகவி
Your mould gives also a scope for a gopucham

I still do not get the origin of the word மாலை மாற்று to mean Palindrome.
It must be part of aNi ilakkaNam. Are there any historical references in old Tamil literature?
Did Kambar ever use it?

One more!

நீவா பசுபதி தா விகடகவி
தாதி பசு பவா நீ.

நீ வா பசுபதி = you (please) come Pasupathy
தா விகடகவி = give (us) (palindromic) verses
தாதி பசு = (like a) nursing cow
பவா நீ = are you (or you have become)
(பவா = bhavA = you become )

Pasupathy is like a nursing cow giving nectarine
palindomic verses in sweet Tamil!
