Sreeni-Mridangam Vidwan A Rajachar was also a priest at Karanji Anjaneya Temple.He used to worship Lord Rama in the adjacent shrine.He used to sing slokas on different ragas.Have you experienced this ??

Of course! I cherish the memories of 1970s at the Karanji Anjaneya Temple! My brothers in Bangalore have been in contact with Sri Rajachar and I get updates about the senior vidvAn's health regularly.

Also, nice to see Indian Institute of World Culture becoming a center for music performances also these days.
I have great memories of this place also - their library was impeccable and introduced me to many British and U S magazines when I was a child.
