We from Melattur Bhagavata Mela Natya Vidya Sangam take immense pleasure in welcoming you for our Annual Bhagavata Mela Utsav to be conducted at Melattur, Thanjavur District from May 23, 2013 to May 29, 2013. As you would be aware, Bhagavata Mela is an age old tradition of around five centuries with deep roots in Bhakthi and is a blend of Carnatic Music, Bharathanatyam and Dramatics. Our art form is one of the rare forms that strictly adheres to Natya Sashthra of Bharatha and is being performed in very few select villages in and around Melattur. We are striving hard to carry forward the tradition and culture of this art form and it is by the unflinching support of art lovers and artists that we are able to last the distance. We hope that your support will continue in years to come and are eagerly awaiting to host you at Melattur during the festival. Here is the schedule of the Festival.

Thanks for your support as ever. We are not in a position to record the performances and release a DVD or webcast since the art form is traditional and has its heritage. We don't want to commercialize the artform that has its rich culture and history. We work and perform as a dedication of our artisists to Lord Lakshmi Narasimha and the art form... Hope to meet you in our performances in future.
