Moderators - Can all the arattarangetram tpics be clubbed into one? Will make for easier searching and reading...Just the Isai Payanam thread that Karthik has started.

Hi rshankar,
Didn't quite understand by clubbing in one. You mean all the episodes with links so far as one single post or each episode links in one post?
Thanks and Regards,
Arattarangetram team

Raghu,
I meant having one arattarangetram topic, and each episode as a new post - it is really easy for searching, and reading through in sequence. As an example, check this one out for the 'A Raga's Journey' episodes.

Re: Arattarangetram Seventh Episode Part II and Part III
Hi rshankar,
I see the angle you are coming from. Thanks for explaining. However, I have two issues with that. Maybe due to my ignorance of capabilities of discussion forums.
1. If someone has a point to discuss it is quite important for discussion sake, to know for which episode or segment they are asking or referring about. If I have all of the episodes in a single thread then it becomes unmanageable in the long run. I would like to have this compartmentalized so that any questions/issues raised would be easier from the perspective of episodes.
2. If a new post is added to the single thread, then only few would know the updates on that particular thread. I am not sure if it jumps up higher in the order that is displayed in the Natya forum. As I said, I am not aware of full capabilities of discussion forums, so those who know how to navigate would find things. Others, like me, would resort to google search or click on the username and find all the posts.
Having said all this, I am open to suggestions from Moderators and others so that the episode posts are searchable.
Thanks and Regards,
Raghu
