Endrendrum MS, the Vasantha Memorial trust’s initiative to promote the music and memories of Smt. M.S.Subbulakshmi , began on 16th Oct 2008 Since then monthly concerts have been held and talented musicians, upcoming and established , have presented several songs sung and popularized by MS under a thematic background. School children too joined in this endeavour and rendered songs sung by her at MS’s Remembrance Day programs. Chennaites have provided constant encouragement to this movement that has grown with time
The 50th Concert in this series will be held on 23rd Feb 13 at 6 pm at the main hall of Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore. TrichurBrothers and their team will present on the theme “ Merusamana – the unparalleled lord Rama of Thyagaraja “ .
