Ashwin Anand will perform at Naada Inbam today at 4 PM, accompanied on the mridangam by N. C. Bharadwaj.

Ashwin, a talented young vainika, had extensive training under Shri H. V. Krishnamurthy of Bangalore, and is now under the guidance of Sangita Kalanidhi Smt. R. Vedavalli. I have attended several of his concerts, and they are marked by a wonderful tone, extensive elaborations of traditional ragas, and a sober, relaxed and refined approach to concert presentation.

Serious music rasikas in Chennai would do well to attend and support this gifted and hard-working artiste.

I have heard about him. Wanted to attend. Had to attend a useless meeting. Looking forward to another opportunity preferably at the same venue.

It was a lovely concert, attended by a pitifully small audience.

There were times when it was like listening to Smt Vedavalli sing.
