Hi,

Since I was allotted only 15min for the Bharatnatyam recital i thought i would do a Alarippu and Pushpanjali. Do you think that Pushpanjali can follow a Alarippu in a Bharatnatym margam or would that be a repitition. I assume both are an invocatory item. Hence the doubt.

A pushpAnjali is typically an offering of flowers to the lord, and asking the caretakers of the stage to sanctify the stage for the performance, in addition to performing the namaskAram on stage, and so, should come before the alArippu, IMO.
