SRGMPDN Music Forum will be hosting a vocal concert by Gokul Chandramouli on Saturday January 28th at 3:00 pm EST in the Washington DC Metro area. Forum members my be familiar with Gokul a.k.a. Tyagarajadasa since he is an active contributor to the discussions related to Kutcheris. He will be accompanied by Pavani Srikanth on Violin, and Vivek Chellappa on mridangam.
If you will be in the neighborhood and would like to attend the concert, you may either repond to this email (offline please) or contact [email protected] for details of the venue.

We get the video stream just fine but there are severe audio problems. The person-in-charge said they will make the audio available later on.

Sri Gokul, Glad to hear the concert went off well. My best wishes for your performances in N.America.
Unfortunately, I could not catch the live stream due to other commitments. But the recording that is on the ustream site seems to have a host of audio/mismatch problems. The vocal track is barely audible and only the mridangam can be heard and that too intermittently (at least during the varnam). I got the same from my brief sampling of the other two videos... I am wondering if a better reproduction will be made available. Many thanks for your efforts.
