Sri NCh Krishnamacharyulu is a great scholar, musician and teacher of modern times. He served as a staff violinist at All-India-Radio Vijaywada and accompanied many of the top most artistes during his 50+ years of music career. Sri Krishnamacharyulu is also a great exponent of Hari Katha. He translated Thyagaraja's yaksha ganas from Telugu into Sanskrit.

Apart from various literay works in Sanskrit, He had composed 20+ compositions in Sanskrit and Telugu on various themes. Many people familiar with his compositions often compare them with Deekshitar’s great master pieces.

Some of the legacy he left behind includes MSN Murthy, Indira Kameswara Rao, his son NCh Bucchayyacharyulu (Violinist and lecture, Hyderabad Music college) as well as his grandson Kaushik Kalyan, winner of Vivel Ultra Pro Super Singer contest in 2010.
