Bharatanatyam Kamala

Kamala and Bharatanatyam are synonymous with each other. Anyone knows where she lives now and how she is doing?

Smt. Kamala Lakshminarayana (synonymous with vazhuvUr bANi of bharatanATyam) lives and teaches in Long Island, NY. She was at an arangETRam we attended this past summer (2010), and has written a lovely article on the vazhuvUr bANi for the 2010 issue of shaNmukha, the official magazine of the Shanmukhananda Sabha in Mumbai (the issue celebrates the bi-centennial of the youngest of the TQ, Sri Vadivelu, and the centennial of vazhuvUrAn - Vazhuvur Sri Ramiah Pillai, Smt. Kamala's guru).
IIRC, Swamimalai Sri Rajaratnam Pillai and Smt. Kamala were contemporaneous students of vazhuvUrAn.
