Keyboard for carnatic music

I wish to know if there is a special keyboard to play carnatic music. If so kindly let me know the model and where it is available for purchase.

Most of the cheaper Casio or Yamaha models are ok for a beginner to get to the feel of a keyboard. However, these do not have advanced functions to allow glides between notes. For this, you will have to try models which have a portamento feature - brands such as Korg (eg Korg X-50) or Roland (Fantom G6 or Juno Di).

I can't advise where they are available in India.
