Thank you -- but now I am an alumnus to IIT. Noticed Bharath hasn't posted it yet, so put up the list here (just the way kssr does for Nada Surabhi).

CLT I now know well. Where is BT Seminar Hall? BT = ?

I don't know which route you take to Central Lecture Theatre (CLT), but from CLT to get to BioTechnology (BT) department you should go to the Gajendra Circle and take a left. After some distance, you'll see a very modern sort of building with a garden in front of it to your left, and opposite it, the Ocean Engineering / Naval Architecture department to the right. This modern-looking building is the BT department -- and the seminar hall is somewhere inside that (ground floor).

Arundhathi was one of the youngsters whose concert I listened to at KGS this season. Babu, student of Guruvayur Dorai played the mrudangam that day. I like her singing very much (have heard her once before, a couple of years ago). She is an IIT student as well (freshman?). Her guru in music is Sundara Krishnan.
I hope we get reviews of all the young performers.

i am done with thesis. i submitted in the last week of december.
however, i was still held up with other stuff, and hence couldnt post this list

i hope to get back to normal routine of concerts and reports sooner than later.

Does this mean that you will not be involved in IIT-M music events from now on?

@above, viva will take a while. not yet known.
with iit music events, well i may not be directly involved and/or attend all programs. but i think i will still choose to continue to be a well wisher of the organisation

thanks dear arasi for your feedback on Arundhathi . I happened to see these posts only now . The Music club fest at iit was very well attended ( concerts other than Arundhathi's is an input from her at IIT). She said that all the concerts were well attended ( though no reviews as you say ) . She mentioned that Bharathi's was a very good concert with open throated singing.
In the all iitians concert ( Arundhathi's ) the accompanists Giridhari on violin and Srivatsan on the mridangam were very good ( they as well tampura by Avantika).
Amongst others Arundhathi had rendered Ranganayakam of the trinity Dikshithar (srivatsan on the mridangam sounded super ) and Kadhanu Variki in thodi as the main piece.( being her mother i should not be writing about the performance ). She rendered Govardhana Girisham of the trinity Dikshithar in Hindolam and Mrityunjayam in Ramapriya a melodious rare krithi of The great Harikeshanallur Muthiah Bhagavathar.

It was very heartening to see many iitians attending and Prof.T.T.Narendran himself a very accomplished veena artist being present with his lovely smile.

@suresh72, The next series of concert at IIT Music Club will the annual concert series ClasFest 2011 in the second week of August.
