I am wanting to know the words & meaning of the opening prayer song on the
NAVASANDHI KAUTHAVAM CD ( produced by Prof. Sudaharani)

before the recital of any sree bharatalaya/silambam student, the same sloka is sung but instead of bharatakala they sing shree bharathalaya paalakam

umA shambhO krpApUrNa kumArAgraja tE namah
gaNEshaskanda janakam gaurInAtham namAmyaham
nrtyantam nandIsham pUjyam
bharata kalA pAlakam
I offer my salutations (namO) to you (tubhyam), pAravti (bhagavatE)! I meditate (dhImahi) upon gaNESa, the master (nAthAya) of the bhUta gaNa! I bow to (namaha) him (tE), who is filled to the brim (pUrNa) with compassion (kRpA) and is the elder brother (agraja) of muruga, the son (kumAra) of pArvati (umA) and Siva (Sambhu). I bow down to (namAmyaham) Siva, who is the father (janakam) of gaNESa and kArtikEya (skanda), and the husband (nAtham) of pArvati (gaurI). I worship (pUjyam) Siva, the protector (pAlakam) of the art form (kalA) of bharatanATyam (bharata) and the dancing (nRtyantam) master (Isa) of nandi.
