Smt.Kalyani Ganesan(Veena Vidhushi)

Post by karaharapriyajanyam »

Can somebody please help me with the following?

1) Does Smt.Kalyani Ganesan teach Veena? I know that she performs but does she teach to students?
2) If she does teach, can one learn from her directly/through online classes?
3) If there are any students of hers, can you please tell me what are the minimum qualifications do I need to be her student? I mean, I have been playing Veena for almost 10 years and have learned about 50-60 varnams, kritis, etc. Am I a suitable student in terms of level? Why I am asking this is because some teachers only teach advanced students and some teach to even beginners.
4) Can somebody please tell me if this is her correct address and phone number?

30, 3rd Trust Cross Street,
Mandavelipakkam,
Chennai 600 028.
Phone: 2499 2410

I got it from this link:

Thanking you,
Karaharapriya

I am extremely shocked and surprised that among a forum of almost 4000 people, not even one bothers to help a person! I am sure there will be at least ONE person who knows Smt.Kalyani Ganesan! Why don't you come forward and help a person??

kharaharapriyajanyam, I think your fury in #2 is quite unneeded! And indeed, having found out her possible telephone number, you could have gotten some or all of your questions answered by calling that number up. (Though I know there might be difficulty in that, having been through something that difficult -- or more -- myself! :$ ;( )

Wish you good luck in your lessons!

KJ,
You do not seem to have understood the dynamics here. You will get to know it slowly......
