Nick , glad you saw this post , as i was about to inform you about 15th evening concert 
When you come from Velachery road , you cannot take the right to IIT , as it is has been made one way .
Instead , i suggest you reach thiruvanmiyur and come to madhya kailash junction via tidel park . From madhya kailash junction , you can take left , come straight about 500 mtrs and the IIT is to your left .
I hope this is right . Hope someone confirms this ..

When you come into IIT thru adyar gate, the road will fork into two , keep to the left , travel atleast 2 to 3 kms till you reach gajendra circle.
In gajendra circle take a left , around 200 meters you have to take a right into CLT. Parking no problem at all , but reaching on time if you get distracted by seeing deer will be a problem
