Can somebody suggest some Kummi folk songs. Is there anything available online?

Hi,

Can somebody pls. identify this song for me and tell me where I can get the music alone. The words are not very clear in this, hence unable to identify the song.

The song is called "vElan pATTu" by Mahakavi Subramanya Bharathi.
They sing 3 verses of which the first and thrid are authentic from Bharathi but the second verse is totally out of the text. Somebody has written a new verse and introduced it as the second segment.
You can follow the song with the lyrics below>

1. villinai oththa puruvam vaLaiththanai vElava, vaDivelavA
angor veRpu noRungip poDippoDi Anadhu vElavA vaDivElavA
2, sollinait tEniR kuzhaitturaippAL siRu vaLLiyaik kaNDu
sokki maramena ninRanai tenmalaki kATTilE
3. kallinai oththa valiya managoNDa pAdhgan singan
kaNNiraNDAyirang kAkkaik kiraiyiTTa vElavA vaDivElava
4. pallinaik kATTi veNmuththaip pazhittiDum vaLLiyai
oru pAppanak koland tariththuk karand toTTa vElavA vaDivElavA

They sing verse 1 and sing a second verse which is not found in Bharathi's song. The thrid verse they sing is the verse #4 given above.

Several musicians have sung this song (Sudha, Sowmya and others).. If you cannot find it yourself let me know I will get oen for you later.
