Sri Kartikeya Gana Sabha, Hyderabad, established in August 2009 has launched a online music education initiative under the title "Sangeetha Vidya Deepika". This activity is done through its website www.srikartikeyaganasabha.org. This is a fortnightly activity and has two parts to it. In the first part, there would be a Quiz Corner intended for Students of Music & Music Lovers and the second part features a video clipping which covers topics on practical aspects of music, short lecture demonstrations, Learning of Krithis, padams, tarangams, Javalis, thillanas from various Vidwans etc.
