Arriving at Bangalore for a function

I have to attend a function to be held at Bangalore on 16th, January, 2009. In this connection I shall arrive there in the morning on 13th and again leave in the evening on 19th. Taking this oppurtunity I would like to meet our member-rasikas at Bangalore if possible. There, mostly, I shall stay with Sangeeta Vidwan Chi.Shrikantam Nagendra Shastry (Ph:23606380, M-9845415592) and our member-rasikas can contact him to finalise any of our meetings. amsharma

Gobilalitha (real and pseudo!) are based in Bangalore, as well as some others I believe. We can refer to the Bangalore-originating review threads to find them!

ganesh_mourthy, there are plenty of members at Bangalore. In fact when coolkarni came to Bangalore last month, a gettogether was hastily arranged. Myself, braindrain, ignoramus,G B Rajashekar and others whose names I forgot attended. s_hari, cienu ,anushaa ,ramakriya are others who contribute regularly what about a biggettogether.? gobilalitha

I shall start back to Hyderabad in the evening on 19th January and I shall definetely attend the meeting with our forum-members either on Saturday, 17th or Sunday, 18th if they finalise the venue and time and keep me informed. amsharma

im based in bangalore and in recent months have had the privilege of interacting online with sarmaji , who is indeed a musical genius and also a very humble soul , I am ok with 17th or 18th Jan to meet sarmaji . That was not an intelligent damage control help. By Jan 16, where is music season in chennai?
Anyway I was not happy with that general statement that all rasikas are from chennai. I am from blore, a lay audience. But
like to meet everyone.

Many gettogethers were conducted during this music season. But can't say ALLwere successful.Only a handful attended., especially people from places other than chennai,like usa,canada, singapore, Austalia etc could not attend as they had other other social commitments, in addition to attending kutcheris. To arrange a gettogether in Bangalore successfully, we must have a list of members at BANGALORE ,choose a venue, arrange a kutcheri of a local artist or even that of a member artist Will some member take the initiative? the thread can be named GETTOGETHER OF MEMBERS AT BANGALORE.
