New to carnatic music

HI all,

Sorry first of all if I ask some silly Q

since me very very new to carnatic singing

1)First thing I want to know is what does the number next to the letters in swaras indiacate like

S R1 G3 M1 P D1 N3 S | S N3 D1 P M1 G3 R1 S

2) I have just today started going to a guru to learn, can someone help me with a link where I can get leran all the basic of carnatic music including ragas by listening to it. Any website specific to it for a beiginner?
