just an enquiry,
is there any place or lIlA or avatAra where srI hari has depicted adbhuta rasa?
please do tell me... any form, any activity of sri hari...

Well, krishnaa - isn't it adbhuta when yaSOdA sees the 14 worlds in his mouth?

IMO, the Lord would not show true adbhuta, because, as antaryAmi, nothing should be wondrous to him, right?

The instances where hari has been the source/locus of adbhuta are too numerous to list. However if you mean an instance where hari himself depicts the sancArI bhava of Ascarya etc, (which depict adbhuta), I agree with rshankar's second comment fully.

because i was unable to find any place where he would depict adbhutam....
i will try my best to still look for something...

Krishnaa, are you asking where Vishnu himself expresses Adbutha rasa or where something Vishnu does evokes adbhutha rasa in others (including dancer)? There are numerous instances of the second and perhaps some of the first as well. Have you heard "Shringaaram Sthithe nandiney"? It's a navarasa piece on the life of Rama. In it, Rama expresses Adbhutha when he sees Vaanaras building bridge to Lanka on the ocean.

I think it's upto the imagination of the dancer to think of such instances.

I am askin of a place where sri hari expresses adbhuta rasa.
i have not heard Shringaaram Sthithe nandiney but i have studied the sahityam from a book. i didnt remember it until you mentioned it. Thanks alot!

I was thinking of another instance with sri rtAma. the bhAva of adbhuta rasa is vismaya or Ashcaryam... meaning surprise...
sri rAma is surprised at the unexpected arrival of bharat in citrakUta during his exile, isnt it?
