I heard over the Jaya TV to-day that US President Barack OBama has personally congratulated the efforts. The details are not available. This is a significant honour and recognition for our CM and SI Culture. I would request our VKV to make available the details for us at the Forum. Thanks

I had the honor of spending the first weekend in Cleveland with the organizers and attend the event. It was fantastic effort to organizing one of the largest Carnatic Music competitions, a mammoth logistical nightmare for the faint hearted. Hats of Sri Cleveland Sundaram, Sri Balu, Sri Venkataraman and the entire team.

The hospitality was the best and am not surprised by the recognition from the President himself.

ITS TRUE. I do not have all the documents with me. I will request VVS to write an account of the important details like these as well as the innovations this year-there were many-. It will take a few days as I am traveling myself right now & VVS might also be! Thanks for the interest. VKV

It was nice to watch JayaTV all the days. But it was only for a week I suppose. I was wishing that they increase slot to an hour rather than 30 minutes. In fact few of them got only 15 mins.

The saddest fact is that there are no YouTube videos! Only 1 or 2 pieces have been uploaded that too with bad quality!
