This programme telecast by Vijay tv from mondays to wednesdays from 9.00pm to10.00 pm is is of a very high standard , youngsters possessing wonderful voice control vying with one another, singinng melodies as well as songs of fun from films.T he programme is in its final stage. the judges are s/s P.Unnikrishnan, Srinivas, famous film singer and Smt.Sujatha They enjoy the programme immensely,encouraging the youngsters,asking them to repeat the lines they appreciate,at the same time pointing out their lapses in a mild manner The final list of singers are Ravi, Prasanna, Ajeesh and Renu They are highly talented, having reached the final stage by voting by enthusiastic listeners Another highly talented singer Ranjani, posseessing wonderful voice and knowledge of musical nuances was unfortunate to be eliminated by voting listeners.The programme on wednesday27th was enjoyable, well known playback singers Kartik, Harini,Tippu, Mahati singing duets with the participants, the highlights being the songs 'kanden, kanden from film Pirivom santhippom presented by Ajeesh and Harini in raag vasanta and the highly popular 'AYYANGAR VEETTU AZHAGEfrom fim Anniyan in raag telang with touches of Jog by Harini and Ravi , who took the permission of the judges to sing alapanaand swaras for that song ,sent the crowd into raptures. the other singers , Renu and the crowd's favourite Prasanna also sang delightful songs.
