Thanks avnipriya. That is a rare find with good quality video.

For Raga, I am sure someone else will give the right answer. Given that the same line gets repeated again and again, there was not much to go by for me. But when I tried to extend it, it landed me in the neighborhood of kAnaDA. Let us see what others say.

The raga sound like shuddhadhanyASi to me. There aren't enough words for one to pinpoint the composition.
The only shuddhadhanyAsi tillAnA in my list is by Periasami Tooran but I do not have the lyrics for it.

Lji,

I doubt this is Sri Tooran's tillAnA.

What is the verdict on the raga? After Lakshman mentioned shuddhadhanyAsi, that sounds like a good possibility.

Ravi: :) Exactly ( Even this post took a few tries to cut down the words to one, of course I spoiled all that with this explanation )
