here are some immortal renderings , which woke me up from my slumber-in my childhood-, thanks to the public address system installed at the temple near my home -at harihar in karnataka.

thanks kulkarniji for that sweet clip of kedar.
before knowing anything of raga etc i used to enjoy old hindi songs and the songs i liked all were HM ragas. for ex. the song in Guddi, and the one in Ek musafir Ek hasina. now i know that is called kedar.

Dear Mr.Kulkarni,
Thanks so much for that version of Darshan do Ghanshyam. The original was a duet by Karan Diwan and Lata Mangeshkar. This is another version, is it? Please clarify!

Thanks once again!

Here is a Durga Stuthi broadcast by AIR Calcutta years ago

Was the brainchild of pankaj mallick and has all the great stars of WB singing bits and pieces , apart from the chants.

Thanks murthyhmg. This for some reason reminded me of Bidaram Krishnappa manner of rendering krithis.
