Hi everyone,

I had ordered a few dance dvds in december from JayQ last year but have still not received them! I've been sending mails and even tried to call up the customer service however no success in getting through to them... Just wondering if anyone has had similar experiences with JayQ in the past? Any information in terms of their contact details would also be useful..

Thank you all
:)

They are absolute frauds in my opinion. It happened to me too. I got burned and now i order from kalakendra, swati soft in chennai or known people. I think these people are in hong kong and rip the dvds and claim they will send it. I paid through paypal, disputed with paypal and got my money back. check with your credit card or paypal and get your money back.

I think it will be nice if people who face similar situations , posted in this forum; it will serve as a warning to others not to get cheted.

I also got cheated out of almost 82.00 dollars. I also tried e-mailing without success a number of times. I even called the Hong Kong phone number with no answer, etc. I never received my audio cds or tapes. Never order from JayQ because they will definitely cheat you. I would like to try Giri Trading Agency. Has anyone had a good experience with them? Let me know before i order. I would appreciate it. Thank you.

i also agree jaqq is a fraud.

I ordered from Giri trading and Kalakendra both are good. I like giritrading, they are propmt. The main issue is shipping charges to US. Witin india it should be good. If I order books/Cd worth Rs 2000, shipping also comes to 1000 or 1500 rupees. Packing by Indian vendors are nowhere near amazon's packing. In all my 3 or 4 shipments, 3 CDs came damaged and it is a big pain to get them replaced. Kalakendra once gave a replancement CD to my relative in chennai. (yet to get that to US).

Kalakendra or Jayq are nowhere near Amazon. Two of my friends from NY never got a replacement for damaged CDs from Kalakendra, and they had to wait for 1 month for CDs from Jayq to finally arrive.

Hello Samskr60,

Sorry to hear about the complain of damaged CDs not being replaced, we have been prompt in replacing any defective or transit damages. I am sure you friends would not have updated you after they got the replacement. Anyway if they still have not got it, would be glad to help them, ask them to write to me

Hello :)

I want to tell you my experience with JayQ also. First of all, I want to apologize for my not so perfect english, but I will try to convey my story in clearest way as possible :)

Ok, so here we go...:

January 29th - I've ordered 6 DVD's from JayQ.org. Transferd my money through moneybookers.com . In their website, they claim that order will be shiped within 14 days. So, I wait. 14 days passed no DVD's.
February 26th - I've write and e-mail to the [email protected] asking is my order was sent? Maybe there was some problem with money transfer or something.
March 4th - I got answer that I didn't send my address (oopss... ).
March 5th - I apologized, and send my address to them, hoping that finaly I will get my DVD's ^.^
Again... 14 days passed, no DVD's. "Ok,- I said to myself,- I'll wait till next month".
April 15th - I send letter to JayQ ([email protected]) asking about my DVD's. No answer.
April 23th - I send ANOTHER letter to [email protected] with list of my ordered DVD, asking WAS IT ALREADY SEND?
April 23th - I've got e-mail from them - they didn't got shipping address.
Oh come on...
April 23th - I answerd to them, that I've send my adress to the [email protected] on March 5th. And I added my address once again.
May 20th - I send ANOTHER letter, asking if they got my address and if yes, maybe my order was ALREADY send?!(AAGAIN I added my address).
May 21st - I've got an e-mail, but not from JayQ, From my Gmail Service:
"Message will be retried for 2 more day(s)

Technical details of temporary failure:
The recipient server did not accept our requests to connect"

Wow... Are they blocking my e-mail? Who knows...

May 22nd - I've send letter with my adress and inquire about my DVD's from my msn.com account...and still Waiting for an answer... and hoping for my DVD's....

The most important thing, that before ordering from them, I googled for some bad respons about JayQ, I didn't find anything. Wow, I thought, cheaper DVD's and no bad feedbacks, this was the main reason why I ordered from Jay Q. And then I stumbled upon this site and found that there's is some bad feedbacks about JayQ afterall... :(
Well I'll wait for answer from them, hoping that they are not a froud.. But if they are, then it will be a good lesson to me, that cheaper not always means better... :( .

Thanks for the above information. Good warning for people who are not aware of such frauds.

Giri Trading, Mylapore has good reputation. I made some big purchases and they were very prompt and did everything they promised. I trust Giri Trading business practices.

I'm confused with your posts also. Where did you get these emails ( [email protected] & [email protected] )??
Their website shows only 'sales @jayq .org' as their valid customerservice email.

When I transferd my money to the JayQ's account through moneybookers.com, I got an confirmation e-mail from them (moneybookers.com). And in that e-mail there was details of the transaction and recipient's e-mail ([email protected]). And when I wrote my first e-mail to JayQ ([email protected]) I got an answer from them, but they send me letter from their other e-mail ([email protected]).

Hi everyone!
LOL..I purchased 6 DVD's along with some audio CD's from JayQ during November 2008 which never came & though I kept sending them emails, I never got any response from them. They need to be shut down totally as they are a fraud.

As for Kalakendra & Giri Trading, these 2 are extremely reliable & its a shame they don't do the DVDs that JayQ does like Dhrishya Bharatham etc.

So all of you out there, plse avoid being cheated by frauds like JayQ.

I purchased well over hundred cd's from www.celextel.com. One of the best experiences that I ever had with online purchases. Good prices (Rs. to USD conversion as per exchange rate) and fantastic packing (with thermocole cushions, inside plastic boxes). I received all cd's in good condition. Order response was quick.
