For me Hari Kambhoji is like jackfruit payasam. It is rare, delicious, calls for much skill to get it right, and one should develop a taste for it.

Hari Kambhoji is also a bit overshadowed by its big two children Kambhoji and Khamach. So one forgets what a nuanced exposition of Hari Kambhoji can feel like.

After a massive Keeravani (GKB) and tani, we are treated to a fine Desh raga song Nandanandana with the mudrika Lalitadasa.

This is a stellar concert by Sowmya. That Harikambodi, as RSachi has put it , is great. The alapana is grand. The keerthana rendition is amazing. The razor sharp sangatis we have heard from many great musicians are presented with perfection plus one or two sangatis which jell qujite well with the earlier ones. I have heard very few neravals for Dinamanivamsa. Alathur Bros and M.S have done in this lines Sarva vinuta nannu. Sowmya has done extensive neraval revealing the raga bhavam and her manodharmam. Neraval in two speeds. Rest of the songs are
captivating. I have heard upto the main song. Thanks Sachi for pointing out this concert. In the recent flood of concerts, this would have gone unnoticed by me. Thanks.
