I came across a book of his work and found many songs like naDai alankAram (kubErakucElA), candrOdayam idilE, sArasam vasIgara kaNgaL (kriSNabhakti), ellOrum nallavarE (krSNabhakti) all sung by P.U.Chinnappa. Also the song MLV made popular - ellAm inbamayam (maNamagaL). The song from vElaikkAri OriDan tanilE nilai nillAdulaginilE is also by him. The song pArkkaDal alaimElE (rAgamAlikA) is attributed to him but was not found in the book.

These are old treasures. Who can forget 'Ellam inba mayam' by MLV and P.Leela? P.U.Chinnappa's 'sarasam' and other Krishna Bhakthi songs were wonderful. Can you please upload them here for the oldtimers like me to listen? Thanking you in advance.

[Ranganayaki]

In the youtube video above, the vocalists are not sitting facing the camera but each other, like accompanists of today! The veena artist is taking the main spot, very different from a vocal performance today. Is this significant?
