A nice lecdem By Dr. Rita Rajan on SrImAn rAmanAthapuram PUchi SrInivAsa iyengAr.

Many interesting facets, including his intricate ciTTa svarams in contrast to somewhat less complex ones of SrI PaTnam, were brought out. Also the popular media adoption of his tillAna. The one for paramapAvana rAmA has an interesting offset take in the second or third line.
The young musicians who lent their voices to the Lecdem also did an impressive singing.
A fascinating fact is a mischievous digression into a different rAgA in jAvAlis and then back to original. Dr Sriram Parasuram , in his review comments, drew parallels to thumri where a similar tradition existed.
