I am thinking of attending it for a couple of days, I live in the UK and can get some cheap flights to Dam. As I can only attend weekends, I was thinking of some carnatic concerts.

The main banner says SS but the text says TNS on the 22nd Nov, any one know for sure?

I might be around yes, and I am particularly curious to see what value the organizer of the concerts appends to having proper tanpuras, if at all. Through inside 'consultants' and by direct approach it has been made known that I'm available to assist in any practical way to provide good instruments and accompaniment for the various concerts and the Raga-night but as of yet nothing has come of it.mohan wrote:Thanks Martin. .
As I took part in a debate on Omenad, I was made aware of the conference by one of the editors, who is trying to coax me into writing a contribution, the overall usefulness of which undertaking I am presently pondering, which is halfway doubting very much and considering. Sometimes I feel cynical about the whole thing - sic transit gloria mundi and all that .

Most evenings are double bills, like Sunday 16 nov. 20.15 Gundecha Bros/Chitravina Ravikiran, split in one before the intermission, the other after
