I am no sanskrit expert, but here is my attempt with the meaning for the kAnaDA tillAnA:
C: SrIkara karuNAkara vara SrIdhara munijana vandita
SrI karivarada durita hara SrI raghuvara mAm pAlaya

munijana = the community of sages
vandita = one who is prayed to (by)
SrI kari varadA = the auspicious one (SrI) who granted a boon (varadA) to gajEndra, the king of elephants (kari)
durita = cares/bad deeds/sins/difficulty
hara = destroyer (of)
SrI raghuvara = rAma
mAm = me
pAlaya = protect
Oh bestower of auspiciousness and compassion, in whose chest SrIdEvi/lakshmI resides, who rescued the elephant king from the clutches of the crocodile, Oh rAma the destroyer of sin, to whom the sages pray! Please protect me.
