There were some excellent editorials, (including raga commentaries and discussions on great musicians) in the currently defunct Sangeetham.com site. Some of these were written by Sanjay Subrahmanyan, V. Sriram and others. Are these archived somewhere? If anyone has a copy, could you please post them here (of course only if that doesn't break any copyright laws)?

Google cache used to have a lot of the Sangeetham.com pages but they are also fast disappearing. In Google, enter site:www.sangeetham.com and then click on 'Cache' of the resulting search results.
I just got two links. Here is one cached link:

Another option, hopefully this is more permanent, is http://www.archive.org/index.php and enter www.sangeetham.com and click on 'Take Me Back'. Explore the resulting archived pages. This is a hit or miss. After you click on the link for a particular month and year, in the resulting page, if you click on a link and if that does not exist, it will give you an option to check the archive for that particular link. Click on that and your chances of getting at that link usually improves.
As an example, I found Calcutta Krishnamurthy's interview using the above method: http://web.archive.org/web/199908210736 ... w/KSK.html

Here is a link to what could be salvaged from there: http://web.archive.org/web/200404011155 ... chive.php3
For those interested, there are some real gems there.

These are just some samples to show that a vast majority of sangeetham.com pages are archived at archive.org.
What I found fruitful is to start at this page: http://web.archive.org/web/*/sangeetham.com/* ( just click on this and do not enter this URL at archive.org ). It will display 100s of pages of links. You can browse through them and look for stuff that interests you. It requires some patience. There is no way to search by specific words or phrases yet at archive.org.
