C. S. Chinmayee, though young in years, gave a good account of herself in her concert in memory of Smt.Lalitha & Sri V.S.Vaidyanathan. For an accompanist to play solo is quite a challenging task. The entire role changes right from taking centre stage and being responsible for the choice of items. Young Chinmayee was evidently well trained in all aspects and handled herself with confidence yet no arrogance. Her bowing was strong, and sweet. Akshay Ram and Sunil Kumar gave experienced support and helped the youngster in her performance. The sum total of their efforts led to an aural treat for the listeners.
