There is a Sufi Music festival on Saturday evening at the Madras Race Club Lawns.
Donor passes available at Landmark and Odyssey.
I am planning to go (even though the Rs 250 ticket is going to burn a hole in
my pocket).

1.Baul Music by Parvathi Baul (you can look up the article on her in THE HINDU in Saturdays Metroplus section).
Rshankar--- NINAAD have brought out an album called "Ruhaniyath" (in fact that was the theme of Yesterdays Festival.That has a couple of Baul Tracks by Parvathi Baul.
Unfortunately the album got sold out yesterday at the stall they had put up,before I could open my purse
2.A soul Stirring Sufi Qawwali by Chisthi Brothers.
3.Some Great Sarangi accompaniments to the Rajasthani singers
4.The Chants of the Tibetian Monks.
