what is alaripu equivalent in kathak? i mean initial items?

i am learning from youtube videos. not trying to expert, just want to be able to do one simple item with little crisp nirtta. so far i have been able to get some basic steps easily. is there any suggestion, advice your daughter can give? is it possible that she can jsut teach me one good piece 5 min or less? may be make a video for me, i can learn from that. i am a bharatanatyam dancer and a fairly good one.
i want to perform atleast one item in kathak, kathakali, mohiniattam and kuchipudi before i die.

Sorry, my daughter is rather busy with her MBA right now... She has taught at BVB etc. in the past.
