how nice! Do you have a picture from this concert as well?
I know very little about the accompanists that day. could you someone provide a short summary of their background and if they are still active today? Many thanks.

Mahavishnu,
You might have heard of Violin Vid T S Tatachar? He was a disciple of Vid Rallapalli Ananthakrishna Sharma and if I am right, he was a staff artist with AIR Bangalore also. There is a nice album commercially available in which he has accompanied Alathur Brothers in a Radio broadcast from early 1960s.
Vid T T Srinivasan is Sri Tatachar's son, and he is actively performing in Bangalore.
I wil try to get more information, hopefully this weekend.
Vid P G Lakshminarayana was a well recognized mRdanga Vidvan in Bangalore. I need to do some homework before I can write more! I will try to do that this weekend.
I have not yet listened to this concert - I plan to do that soon!

Vid. P. G. Lakshminarayana served on AIR Mysore for many years. He performed several times in Parvathi. He was very much liked for his mridangam accompaniment by the artistes and the audiences.
You can see him accompanying. Bombay Sisters here:

Vid. Lakshminarayana was honoured with the Karnataka Kalashree award. He has left behind many disciples.

I had forgotten about Sri TTS's website!
I believe Dr. TTS was an active member on our forum a few years ago. That is how I had connected with him around 2009.
Thanks to Rsachi Sir, I do not have to do any homework now! I can just enjoy listening to music this weekend!
