* I recollect all the known disciples of Thiagaraja were Vaggeyakaras.
* Is the same true with all MD &SS disciples.?
* Or the history has recognised only vaggeyakara disciples.
* I feel We list out all of them.I will attempt with Thiagaraja's.

When did Patnam learn from Thyagaraja? Patnam was born in 1845 about 2 years before Thyagaraja passed away and he was the disciple of Manambuchavadi. Tiruvotriyur Tyagayyar was the son of Veena Kuppayyar. Well known disciples of Thyagaraja like Tanjavur Rama Rao and Thillaistanam Rama Iyengar were not composers.
