bountiful indeed...It has been to me.

i am spending hours and hours in old music shops in Pune , picking up some rare HM stuff - mostly in dusty jackets in long forgotten corners -
full length concert renderings of mansoor , malini rajurkar, kumar gandharv...

A very happy 2007 to all rasikas over here !!

May all good things, in music and all else, come to pass for us all :)

And may this forum indeed continue to grow as said already. That it is now attracting professional musicians to add to the store of knowledge many of you folk bring here is wonderful.

jayaram,
Sorry for correcting - Since we have been participating in Transliteration scheme, I take the privilege of correcting.
In Hindi - the word ending consonants automatically take virAma. Please also note the special chandra bindu with E - anu nAsika at the end.

Govindan-garu - thanks for that. I was using Arun's testbed to do the transliteration, and didn't know what to input in English to achieve the desired results! How did you do it?

The anunAsika - as part of consonant - is represented by keyboard character X (Capital). Vowel E with chandra bindu is represented by keyboard character ! and Vowel O with chandra bindu by keyboard Character |
k+X = कँ ; ! - ऍ ; | - ऑ

Looks like these don't work at Arun's testbed: http://arunk.freepgs.com/cmtranslit/cmt ... _test.html

You must be using a different scheme to do this. Is yours the standard one? And is it available online somewhere?
