Joy with music
Naadhabrahmam, a monthly music journal in Tamil and English, organises its fifth annual music festival in New Delhi, the Chithirai Thiruvizha, this Friday and Saturday at Delhi Tamil Sangam auditorium, R. K. Puram. The festival takes its name from the celebrations at Madurai's Meenakshi temple of the wedding of Lord Shiva and Goddess Meenakshi around April (Tamil month of Chithirai) every year. This year Naadabrahmam confers the title of Naadha Sevaka on Carnatic vocalist Maharajapuram S. Ramachandran, who will also perform.
