Pushpa Anand

Pushpa Anand hails from an illustrious and philanthropic family in Chennai, where music is an integral part of life. Growing amidst exponents and connoisseurs of music, her latent talent was first spotted by Swami Haridoss Giri, the saint who propagated "Bhakti" through His soul-stirring music and engrossing lectures. He put her on to Dr. M L Vasantakumari, who moulded Pushpa till her last days. Pushpa continues under the able tutelage of P S Narayanaswamy.
