Rallapalli Anantha Krishna Sharma's work on Annamacharya

Dear Rasikas,

The Rallapalli webpage has been updated to include the pioneering work done by
Late Sangeeta Kalanidhi Dr Rallapalli Anantha Krishna Sharma, on Tallapaka Annamacharya.

I have also uploaded 10 songs of Annamacharya, set to music by Rallapalli Sharma, maintaining their originality.

I hope the rasikas would enjoy the same and derive benefit. I have put a similar post under general discussions also

Thanks for the audio - the construct of alarulu in ShankarabharaNam was especially beautiful reminiscent of the structure of a classical padam! Can I make a request for Samanta and SalanganATa audio if it is possible? sahajavaishNavAcaramu or anything else in Samanta. It would be educative to hear them.

Dear Vidya,

Thanks for your response and appreciation of the Shankarabharana padam. As you rightly pointed out, every effort was made by Rallapalli Anatha Krishna Sharma in maintaining the originality of the Tallapaks songs, when he set music for the same.

Regarding your request for posting audio of Samantha & salanganata, I will check with my father
Prof R A Phani Shayi ( son of Rallapalli Sharma ) about these and revert back to you shortly.

Dear vidya,

I checked with my father, there are 2 songs in Samamtha - Sahajaviashavacharya and Natikinade.
However, i am not yet able to trace the audio tapes for the same. I am trying.
