I remember TNK humbly remarking once that at the age of 7 he could not play much but whatever a singer (he was talking about sr vidwans, not any singer) could sing, he could play on violin! When I heard his Anna Purne, to my untrained ear, there was no difference to a very very senior violinist playing, the timing, the tone, the way he played the word 'purne' with all its twists and turns, all point to something special.
Rajan Parikkar a famous music critic in one of his offensive blog posts referred to some of these kids as 'more child than prodigy' but if he hears this kid he will perhaps say 'more prodigy than child'
