Translation
I salute Vallabha, the Chief [1] of Soratha (Gujarat), the creator of the united nation.
Him, who is the shelter of his subjects, master of the land,
Him, who is extremely righteous, the praetorian of the country,
Him, who delights in the cloth-burning agitation, who is clever,
Him, who is praised by Chakravarti and Javahara [2] among others.
Him, who is the servant of Mohanadasa [3], who possesses an iron hand,
Him, who is the leader, the commander of the great satyagraha,
Him, who sacrifices household pleasures, who is a prison-dweller,
Him, the majestic one, who bestows complete self-rule,
Him, who is robust in body, who cut asunder the empire of the foreigners,
Him, who is a divine manifestation, who is the master of Maneka and Kodandara [4],
Him, who is the master of the army, who resides at the Somanatha temple [5],
Him, who is a vaishya, the jewel of India [6], who is adept in statecraft.
