Classic Arpana 25 (Mixed Repertory)
The Arpana Dance Company, Irivine, California, US will commemorate dance through presentation of a mixed repertory. Classic Arpana 25 will celebrate these collaborations with excerpts from Ganga … life as a river (post modern choreographic structures using Bharata Natyam vocabulary), Pancha Bhootam (exploring the abstract theme of the 5 primordial elements), Celluloid Classics (setting classical dance to movie music) and pieces from the Company’s traditional repertoire. The company will also perform with Japanese Taiko drummers, Kinnara Taiko.
