While I have had the privilege of watching the mahAri style of oDissi, I have never had the opportunity of watching one of these....

Interesting. What is it though about their muscles becoming stiff after the age of eighteen?

These kids are amazingly gymnastic according to reports...I guess they become too muscle-bound that affects their flexibility..

Kuchipudi also has the origin of male brahmin dancers but is mostly yakshaganas or dance ballets...
